AN INDUCTIV FOLK PROJECT

ROMELL ALAMAN

Singer‑songwriter from Romania, powered by caffeine, curiosity, and an unreasonable love for folk music. So far, I’ve released two studio albums and one live acoustic album—because sometimes the studio just isn’t dramatic enough.
My sound is a mix of electronic and acoustic elements, which I proudly call “inductiv” (inductive). Why? Because my music refuses to sit quietly in any one folk genre. It’s a bit rebellious like that.
If you want to dive into my musical universe, my albums are waiting patiently below. When I’m not making my own songs, I’m busy writing and producing music for other artists, bands, films, and documentaries. Basically, if it needs sound, I’ll probably try to sneak a melody into it.

A live album recorded in the actual forest of Romania—yes, with trees, birds, and zero Wi‑Fi. The entire thing is custom‑made out of wood (because why stop at “rustic” when you can go full “forest wizard”?). It’s 100% financed by fans, beautifully crafted, unique, and just a little bit exquisite in that “I can’t believe this exists” kind of way.
The album comes in both video and audio, so you don’t just hear the story—you see it, moss and all. You can grab the physical album or go for the digital download if your shelves are already full of mysterious wooden objects.

HORA DOCUMENTARY

HORA (Heritage Organization of Romanian Americans) announced their third movie documentary, showing Romanian immigrants’ journey to Minnesota after the fall of communism in 1989.I am proud that my music is part of this wonderful effort. Songs from "Legende cu Lupi" and "Into the Fall " albums will accompany the entire production.Please check out HORA's web site for more details.
